Faq’s
How long does a custom wedding ring take to create
From the initial consultation, usually a maximum of 6 - 8 weeks. This is for the most complicated of fitted rings that may require custom cut diamonds to fit the design.
Usually the standard is 4 weeks. 1 week to design, 1 weeks to confirm any changes, 2 weeks to make.
Can I trade in or use family gold or gold from other things i have towards my rings
The short answer is yes.
We always thoroughly test what you bring in through scratch and XRF machine lab testing. If your trade in jewellery is 9 karat and you want an 18 karat ring, we cant make 9 karat into 18 karat. So we would look at trading in your 9 karat for the price on the day and put that money towards making your rings/jewellery.
If it’s sitting in a drawer doing nothing, and you never wear it, use it!
What if I need to resize my ring?
It’s normal to resize you ring a few times over a life time. Even at the beginning of your ring wearing journey, you may change size from winter to summer!
Resizing rings as a general rule is really easy to do. It usually takes a day. Just drop it in to our workshop in the morning and you can pick it up at the end of the day or following day.
If you fall into the loose ring in winter tight ring in summer category, we have a solution for this too. Make a short 15 min appointment to come in and we can look at your ring and give you some advice.
I love my engagement ring but it’s just not “me”. Can you help me to redesign it?
Sometimes we don't get everything right the first time. If your partner put a tonne of effort into “nailing” your ring but you don’t feel like it’s your dream ring, bring it in and we can see what can be done. Some times some fresh design ideas are all you need to turn what you have into something you love. We are always happy to work with what you have, and add anything to the picture to make what you wear everyday that is a part of your style and love story truly the perfect match!
