I opened Leah S Designs in 2001 with a simple goal: to help every bride feel beautiful, comfortable and completely herself in her wedding dress.
More than 25 years later, I still love being part of that special moment when a bride finds the dress that makes everything suddenly feel real. Together with my wonderful team, I’ve created a relaxed and welcoming bridal boutique where you can take your time, be listened to and enjoy the experience without pressure.
At our Hallam showroom in Melbourne’s south-east, we offer an inclusive collection of wedding dresses in sizes 6 to 34, with many styles under $3,000. Our gowns range from timeless and romantic to modern, colourful and a little unexpected. I also design our own Leah S collection, including gowns featuring our signature Magic Corset, created with 19 pieces of boning for beautiful support and shape.
We believe the perfect dress should work for your body, your personality and your wedding—not the other way around. With experienced bridal stylists, on-site alterations and plenty of honest, caring advice, we’re here to make finding your dress feel exciting rather than overwhelming.

Faq’s
How long does it take to order a dress?
The perfect amount of time is 6-9 months before your event date. This gives you plenty of time to find your dream dress, place your order, and allow alterations to begin—so everything is ready stress-free for your big day! Of course if you have less time you are welcome to purchase off the rack.
Can I purchase a wedding dress off the rack?
Of course you can! We have a great range of dresses waiting for you to be purchased off the rack. Any of our dresses can be purchased straight off the rack, as long as we have your size available. Your welcome to take your dress home with you the same day.
What sizes of wedding dresses are in store to try on?
We carry an impressive bridal collection of different styles in all sizes. There are many different silhouettes, styles, and sizes in-store to try on, ranging from size 6 to 28.
Our bridal showroom has the entire range of Plus Size Perfection sizes 16 to 34, and the only Melbourne bridal shop stocking the entire Leah S Designs bridal collection sizes 6 to size 16.
Do I need to make an appointment?
We do recommend booking an appointment where possible, and especially for Saturdays as it is our busiest day of the week. Walk-ins are always welcome, but a stylist may not be available to assist you in trying on.
