How does the process work?
Firstly we will have a consultation through email so I can get an idea of what you'd like. It's helpful (but not mandatory) if you have some inspiration pictures, and a good idea of what size and shape bouquet you'd like, along your dress and wedding theme colours if possible.
You'll then be sent a quote, contract and deposit link to secure your date. Your bouquet will be with you at least 1 month before your wedding date. If you are travelling for your wedding and need it earlier, be sure to let me know!
I need at least 4-6 months to create your shell bouquet, so I recommend booking with me as soon as you have locked in your wedding date.
Do the bouquets last in humid/ wet conditions?
Yes! The adhesive I use to create the shell flowers is commercial grade, flexible and waterproof.
The handle is finished with standard ribbon or twine, so take care like you would any other item made from these materials around water and dirt.
How do you safely ship the bouquets?
I have safely shipped dozens of my bouquets all over the world including the USA, UK, Spain and Canada! Each piece is lovingly wrapped in a gift box, well padded inside and secured to the box itself to minimise movement. I use a second outer shipping box to minimise direct impacts and bumps.
How do I care for my shell bouquet?
You will receive a full care card with your bouquet with care instructions.
Apply the same principals as you would any delicate artwork, do not drop, throw, bang or handle roughly, and only hold your bouquet using it's handle. You can gently wipe clean using a microfibre cloth and plain water; while I do reinforce the tinier shells, too much pressure may cause them to break.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free within Australia for all my pieces - not just bouquets, but jewellery displays and hair accessories too.
