Avenue Studio Co. is a Melbourne-based creative studio specialising in bespoke wedding and event stationery and signage for modern, design-conscious couples. We create refined, cohesive and thoughtful pieces that elevate your entire wedding experience — from the very first save the date and invitation, through to on-the-day details and keepsakes.

What sets us apart is our dedicated showroom in Surrey Hills, Melbourne  — making us one of the few wedding stationery and signage studios in both Melbourne and across Australia to offer in-person consultations. This allows our couples to experience their stationery firsthand: to see, feel, and compare premium papers, colours, materials, shapes, sizes, finishes, and printing techniques in a thoughtfully curated space. It’s a personalised, immersive design experience that ensures every detail is considered with confidence.

Our services include custom save the dates, invitations – detail cards, RSVPS, and envelopes with premium finishes on offer such as letterpress, hot foil stamping, and embossing. We also design and produce on-the-day stationery and signage including welcome signs, seating charts, menus, place cards, and bar signage — all created to ensure a seamless and cohesive wedding aesthetic and branding. We also offer a curated hire range, allowing us to be your one-stop shop for essential styling pieces such as signage stands, table number holders, and more.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes we do! We offer free no-obligation consultations. Our address is: 342 Canterbury Road, Surrey Hills VIC 3127. Bookings by appointment only.

When should I send out my wedding invitations?


Send your save-the-dates 10-12 months in advance and invitations at least 3-4 months before the wedding.

When should I order my wedding stationery?


Start ordering your wedding stationery at least 4-6 months before the wedding to allow time for design, any necessary revisions, printing and pickup/shipping.

Do I need to send save-the-date cards?


They are not mandatory but are highly recommended for destination weddings or if many guests will need to make travel arrangements.

How many invitations should I order?

Order enough for each couple/household invited, plus 10-20 extra for last-minute additions and keepsakes. It’s always better to have a few extras than to run out.

What information should be included on the wedding invitation?


The names of the couple, the date and time of the ceremony, the venue address, RSVP details, and any additional information like dress code.

What is an appropriate RSVP deadline?


At least 4-6 weeks before the wedding. This gives you enough time to finalise your guest count and communicate it to your vendors, especially your venue and caterer.

What are some cost-saving tips for wedding stationery?


- Consider using digital invitations. They are a modern, eco-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to printed invitations.


- If you do opt for printed stationery, the most cost-effective print method is to use CMYK or white ink rather than letterpress, hot foil stamping or embossing/debossing.


- Using a rectangle shape rather than die-cuts will also save that tiny bit extra.

Do you have different materials for signage?

Absolutely! We offer a range of materials including PVC, foam board, linen and silk fabrics, acrylic, and mirror. For some of our hire store stands, we can also apply a custom vinyl for a personalised finish.

The best thing (if you are Melbourne-based) is to come into our showroom for a consultation so you can see all the options and materials in person.

What are your printing and production timelines?

- Digital printing for paper (CMYK, white ink, digital gold/silver) – please allow up to 3 weeks.
- Premium print methods for paper (letterpress, hot foil stamping, debossing, embossing) – please allow up to 4-5 weeks.
- Digital printing for signage – please allow up to 3 weeks.
- Linen & silk fabrics – please allow up to 4-5 weeks.
- Custom embossing stamps and wax seals - please allow 4-6 weeks.
