Kirsten Cunningham is an Orange NSW based wedding photographer, shooting across Mudgee, Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Dubbo and regional NSW with nearly 15 years experience and 300+ couples behind the lens.

A Master of Fine Arts trained her eye. A Communications degree trained her to find the story. What is your photography style?
The short answer is joyful documentary with a fashion eye. Kirsten shoots in the moments between moments, the glance across the room, the laugh that catches you off guard, the quiet in between. Nothing is staged and nothing is stiff. But every frame is considered. Gentle direction and posing takes care of the awkwardness, so what's left is just you, relaxed and completely yourself. The result tends to feel more like editorial portraiture than traditional wedding photography, which is exactly the point.
How much do wedding photography packages cost?
Wedding packages start from $5,800 and include everything you actually need. Online gallery, sneak peek within 24 hours, full gallery within 4 weeks, two rolls of 35mm film, highlights slideshow and online print store. Fine Art Album packages start from $7,500. Elopement packages are also available. Every couple gets the same obsessive attention to detail, whatever the package.
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
Based in Orange NSW, which puts Mudgee, Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Dubbo and Bathurst all within reach. Regional NSW and the ACT is home territory. Sydney, Interstate and overseas? Absolutely. Kirsten has photographed weddings across Australia, Italy, New Zealand and beyond. Travel fees apply but are always reasonable. Just ask.

Do you photograph LGBTIQ+ weddings?
Absolutely, and with so much love. Every couple deserves a photographer who is genuinely, wholeheartedly in their corner on their wedding day. Kirsten welcomes and celebrates all couples, all love stories and all ways of doing weddings. Always has, always will.
What if we hate having our photo taken?
Perfect. You're exactly who Kirsten works best with. Nearly 15 years of photographing people who swore they'd hate every minute of it and left saying it was one of the best parts of the day. Camera shy, awkward, convinced you're not photogenic? She's heard it all. And she'll prove you wrong, usually before lunch.
What happens if it rains?
Honestly? Some of the best photos happen in the rain. Kirsten has shot weddings in every condition imaginable, blazing heat, howling wind, surprise downpours, and has never once lost a shot worth keeping. Come prepared for anything. Leave with extraordinary photos regardless.
Can you wrangle our kids/flower girls/ring bearers?
This is genuinely one of Kirsten's superpowers. She can get ten kids under ten to all look at the camera and giggle in under sixty seconds. Couples book her specifically for this. She secretly loves it.
How quickly will we get our photos?
Fast. You'll have a sneak peek of 20 to 50 images within 24 hours of your wedding, because waiting is genuinely the worst. Your full gallery will be ready within 4 weeks. Most couples get theirs well before that.
