Who needs Lake Como when you have The Moorings Lakehouse 3.5hrs North of Sydney! We host beautiful, bespoke weddings on our 10 acre lake front peninsula for up to 75 attendees. Our wedding packages suit couples who want an intimate ceremony that extends into a few days luxury accommodation with their loved ones. Wedding packages include accommodation for up to 10 wedding party members for 2 nights, additional luxury tents can be included bringing on-site guests to x18.
The property offers wonderful opportunities to customise your special day with its exceptional natural beauty, emotive architecture, extensive ornate gardens, magnificent lake views & 200m of lake frontage.
We have three ceremony locations: “The Lakefront“, the covered “Pavilion” or the “The Garden”. Receptions are held in a wedding marquee set up on the stunning elevated lake view lawn in front of the beautiful Moorings Lakehouse. This space is connected by covered deck to the “Rainbow Room” which has a hardwood bar, fireplace, and amenities for pre ceremony cocktails and post reception celebrations.

We can host ceremonies and functions for up to 75 guests.
How much accommodation do you have on-site?
We can accommodate up to 10 guests in our luxury accommodation and an additional 8 guests in our x 4 lakeside luxury tents.
What do your wedding packages include?

Saturday ceremony & reception.(Check in 2pm Friday, late check out 2pm Sunday.)
Accommodation for 11 people in the 2br Lakeview Villa and 3br Lakeview Barn
Set up wedding marquee on the Lakehouse Lawn or use of the "Pavilion" for your ceremony or reception.
6 timber tables and up to 75 chairs for your ceremony and reception.
Your choice of timber wedding arbour. Setup of your ceremony and reception spaces with chairs, tables, arbour and registry table. Use of our indoor / outdoor kitchen by our preferred caterers.Onsite wedding manager for the duration of your event helps with:
Accompaniment of the Bride to the ceremony.
Hosting of guests during the wedding photos.
Liaising with caterer and beverage service.
Removal of waste.
Guests depart property by 11.30pm on your wedding day.
