When we think elegance, we think of Grace Kelly, an icon of Hollywood with a sense of style that was envy-inducing. Naturally, Grace Kelly wore a truly legendary fragrance when she married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco in 1956 – Creed’s Fleurissimo.
Inspired by wedding bouquets, Fleurissimo is a romantic floral scent. With bergamot that gives way to a tuberose, violet, iris and a Bulgarian rose base that’s balanced with ambroxan, it has a lasting sweet earthy aroma.
To this day, Fleurissimo remains one of Creed’s most beloved perfumes, and is often recommended as a traditional bridal fragrance.
2. Meghan Markle: Floris Bergamotto di Positano
While Meghan Markle may not have worn this exact scent on her wedding day to Prince Harry, it was widely reported that fragrance house Floris, British perfumers since 1730, created a custom scent for the couple that was based on Bergamotto di Positano.
The delicate fragrance is a refreshing blend of bergamot with mandarin and balmy marine notes, giving it a uniqueness and lively spirit.
3. Hailey Bieber: Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique
Look, technically we don’t know what wedding day perfume Hailey Bieber wore for her 2019 nuptials. But we’d put good money on it being Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique, and it’s worth a mention since it would make for a gorgeous wedding day scent. “That’s the scent I’ve actually been wearing for a few years, and I find myself always going back to that one,” Bieber recently said of the perfume.

“I wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment,” Gomez said of the scent on Instagram. “Rare Eau de Parfum goes from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends and always feels just right”.

5. Hilary Rhoda: Jo Malone Red Roses
Model Hilary Rhoda reportedly chose Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne on her wedding day, and it’s a popular one for brides given its romantic, classic rose scent that feels both timeless and romantic.
Inspired by seven of the world’s most exquisite roses, these are blended with crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon, giving it vibrancy and a fresh feel.
6. Caroline Trentini: Chloe Signature
Brazilian supermodel Caroline Trentini reportedly wore CHLOE Signature eau de parfum for her 2012 wedding. The feminine scent is another popular wedding day perfume for brides, inspired by free spirits and an innate sense of chic.
A combination of floral powdery notes, it has hints of peony, lychee and freesia, before softening into rich rose, magnolia, lily of the valley and warm amber with sandalwood.
