The Love
Story

Jess and Chris’ love story began back in their local town of Torquay when they were only 17 years old. But their proposal story is one for the ages!

Chris tricked Jess into going and checking the progress of their house build one night after work and had parked a brand new car he had just bought Jess on the block. When Jess opened the glove box a sign popped out and he proposed! Chris then let Jess take control of the design by taking her to New York to pick out a style she loved.

The
Dress

“I went to a few shops in Melbourne but as soon as I tried on my Marquise Bridal dress in south Melbourne I just knew. I always thought I wanted a low back with lace, the pearl details were a surprise, but I loved them! I wore my gran’s beautiful pearl earrings that she left to my beautiful sister who kindly lent these to me,  the dress had so much detail they were all I needed and felt I had a little piece of me with her on my day.”

Memorable
Moments

“The whole day was insane, but the best was seeing our guests face when we surprised everyone with a fire works show. A few of them crying it was so sweet. We wanted them to have the best day ever as we were so thankful they travelled for our wedding.”

Words Of
Wisdom

Anything you would change about your big day | “I would have started getting ready earlier so I had more time in my dress and my completed look for touch ups etc.”

One piece of advice you would give another couple | “I wish I knew about all the little extras that added up right at the very end.”

First dance song // We didn’t have one – we pretended we were going to then set off our fireworks and played touch the sky by Kanye West whilst we all watched our amazing 5 minute show!
