The Real Wedding Of Jordyn & Matthew – Ripponlea, VIC

A couple at an ice cream cart holding ice cream cones.

A day filled with special moments, intimate touches and glamour galore. For Jordyn and Matthew, this was the day they had carefully planned, the day where they became husband and wife. Two souls joining together in front of those they love the most – and what could be more special?

The scoops of gelato they shared to round off the day wasn’t quite as special as all of the intimate moments they shared together and with their loved ones – but it came in at a pretty sweet second!

Check out the best moments from Jordyn and Matthew’s wedding day – in their words.

THE PROPOSAL //

Matthew planned the perfect day. He hired a private yacht which we got on at Docklands and we sailed around the Yarra River to St Kilda beach during a warm summer day in February. We drank champagne and ate delicious food before he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

YOUR DAY IN YOUR WORDS //

The weather turned out perfect. I got ready at Crown Towers before departing to a beautiful church in St Kilda where we had our intimate wedding ceremony. We took photos at some of our favourite spots in Melbourne and then spent the rest of the day in the gorgeous Ripponlea Estate. We drank cocktails poolside and soaked in the afternoon sun as we explored the beautiful gardens. We spent the rest of the evening eating, dancing, drinking with out closest family and friends. Our night ended sweetly as we indulged in gelato.

THE ADVICE THEY’D GIVE TO ANOTHER COUPLE //

Do it your way! And remember… if things don’t go to plan, at the end of the day you get to marry your soulmate, and that’s the most important part!
