What If I need help but have a lower budget?
Shoot me a message! The Events With Amie Team pride ourselves on being able to help every couple have a stress free day and we understand not everyone can refinance their life to pay for it. We specialise in custom and bespoke packages to fit your needs based on what stresses you out most.
Do you cater to cultural/multicultural weddings?
Absolutely. Myself knowing mainly about Western culture I have 2 freelancers who assist when I need them - one grew up in India and specialises in Indian, Sri Lankan and Balinese traditions, and the other specialises in Chinese tea ceremonies. I also have relationships with bilingual MCs around the country, from Greek, to Italian, Japanese and Middle Eastern Cultures. I can assure you that with my planning procedures and my experts in culture, if you're family is after tradition we can cater to you and ensure your comfort and flawless execution!
Do you help with microweddings and elopements?
Of course, again depending how involved you want me to be the price would vary - but micro wedding packages start from $1000AUD.
Do you travel?
Down the road? Interstate? Overseas?
Yes, yes, yes. To ALL!
All packages include travel for up to 3 hours from the Melbourne CBD.
Interstate weddings and destination weddings incur a travel fee. Alternatively, if you are getting married at a venue that has a wonderful venue coordinator and can run the day, a package can be created to help with all of the lead up - we call this the "stress less, handover".
Do you offer other services?
I sure do! If you are an organised person but not super creative I offer styling only beginning from $800.
I also offer content creation, dessert candy bars, and DIY planning template packs!
How do I know if you're the right fit for me?
I like to jump on a call with all my clients prior to accepting a deposit. After all this isn't a pair of shoes you can return this is your WEDDING! The more info I know about you, your partner and your goals not just with the wedding itself but with the planning process; the better equipped I am to help.
Are you concerned about saving money? Time poor? Unsure where to begin? What order? Overwhelmed with choice? All of these things help me understand what your priorities are and how best to help. If we have this call and you decide I'm not the right fit, that's okay, at least you've walked away with some advice! :)
The venue already has a coordinator so do I need an on the day coordinator?
Some venue coordinators are wonderful, but its very rare that they act as wedding coordinators - meaning yes dependant on your venue you should have both as their responsibilities are actually VERY different.
A standard venue coordinator role entails ensuring the food and beverage service run smoothly. Looking after their service staff, and keeping you and the guests happy on a hospitality front in addition to the venue clean.
A wedding coordinator assists you with your timeline and effectively runs your day. Ensuring all bridal party and VIPS are in place where they should be, when they should be. Checks that everything is running on time, liases with all the vendors and ensures they are on track - does the DJ have the correct song cued up, is the MC ready to go, is there a cake knife ready to cut, fluffing the brides dress pre entrance, ensuring you eat, being your one stop shop for any emergency with a back up kit that could fix a wounded soldier and MORE!
What's the difference between a planner and coordinator?
A coordinator will come in to assist with the final steps - in my case I like to begin from 2 months out - finalising floorplans and timelines and running the day.
A planner helps you from much further out, 6-12 months or beyond, where they assist you with the initial planning stages right through to the coordination as well.
In my case I do both it's a matter of which package you book that makes the difference.
