With Coronavirus restrictions finally easing, weddings will be back on the menu for couples who are looking to get hitched. However, with large gatherings still looking a little off-limits, it seems that brides and grooms will be prioritising intimate wedding and celebrations over big guest lists.
So, what if you’ve forever fantasied about a grand wedding venue with a breathtaking backdrop and English country manor vibes? Does that fantasy still hold up if you’re planning an intimate wedding? It sure does.
Well, it does if you’re planning a wedding at Campbell Point House.
This spectacular venue is nestled beyond the secluded hamlets of the Bellarine Peninsula, backing onto Lake Connewarre. It truly makes you feel as if your worlds away, which is a big bonus now that international travel is off the cards.
We sit down with the Campbell Point House team to ask the questions on the tip of your tongue about how to master an intimate wedding in this grand venue.

What are the unforgettable features of Campbell Point House?
Where to begin?! The fact that you get exclusive use of the entire venue for your wedding day is honestly phenomenal. Usually in venues of this size you would likely be sharing with other weddings or hotel guests, so feeling as if you are owning a stunning waterfront space like this for the day is a true treat. Another key benefit is that Campbell Point House is so beautiful that styling is barely needed to make this look like a dreamy wedding space. Legitimately just place a few floral arrangements throughout the site and you’re done! There’s also a lot to be said about keeping the ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one spot – especially if you’re planning a late night party with lots of drinks flowing! Not having to worry about transport or additional accommodation will save not only dollars, but stress too.
The final and perhaps best feature of Campbell Point House is that a ceremony and reception there truly feels like a destination wedding – without having to deal with a long haul flight out of Australia! This ability to transport you and your guests without the hassle of organising a wedding overseas (and deal with the potential blow backs from a global pandemic) is something that we definitely recommended brides and grooms to prioritise for their wedding.
