It’s finally here! The Vera Wang Spring 2020 collection has arrived and it’s more magical than we could have imagined.
While last season represented a take on classical PORTRAITURE replete with off-kilter tiaras (often layered), feminine transparencies, and mixed and layered, metallic laces, all celebrating an artsy vision of “fairie” mid-summer night’s dream royalty …this season explores a new, gentle, relaxed kind of design freedom.
Aptly named ENCHANTMENT, this collection is sensual, feminine and light with some genius asymmetry and considered plays on volume using a mixture of silhouettes and fabrics.
The One Fine Day team had the honour of viewing this divine collection in the flesh and were wowed by the of drama in every gown, while being equally shocked that masterpiece remained light and airy allowing for brides to really feel like they’re floating on air during their ceremony.
Vera Wang so cleverly uses floral embellishment as collars, sleeves, petticoats, and corsages, allowing the dresses to be viewed from a 360* perspective – creating an element of surprise at every turn!
